Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house, set up cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are essential in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system which will lift the pad as it moves from laminate to tile hardwood, carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed admirably across the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling feature of the L10S Ultra. automatic hoover and modern. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, must be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase but its high cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot and is continuously dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. When it turns the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It must be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
Like many robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be improved when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas that this device maps or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just as all Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot to clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
